The Community Foundation and Leadership Metro Richmond have partnered to bring you the Board Leaders Roundtable: Chair Series. These 3-part roundtable series are designed for nonprofit leaders to gain knowledge, learn best practices and network with peers. Board officers of local non-profit organizations are able to receive training tailored to their specific elected positions. These are hosted in partnership with the Community Foundation and currently serve board chairs, chairs-elect, and treasurers.

Session 1: Keeping Your Board Engaged with Amy Nisenson
What's the best way to keep your motivated and run effective meetings? Learn these answers and more regarding your role as board chair.

Session 2: Growing Your Resources with The Monument Group
As the board chair, how do you help create a culture of philanthropy on your board? Come learn best practices around fund development for your board.

Session 3: Collaboration Across Leadership with Annette Cousins
Our expert facilitator will give an overview of how to create a great relationship between the board chair and executive director. We finish the roundtable series with hearing from a chair/executive team as they share their own successes and setbacks in running their organization.
