Nonprofit Boards 101 – Board Basics will help you understand what it takes to be an effective board member and the fundamentals of how effective nonprofit boards work. You will also have the opportunity to learn from and network with other board members across the region.

This course provides an excellent introduction to:
• the nonprofit sector,
• the life cycles of nonprofit organizations and their boards,
• an overview of board member roles and responsibilities,
• board committee structure, and
• a variety of resources for continuing board development and growth.
